This insurance offered by Saint Lawrence offers $10 million in coverage if the insured is kidnapped by extraterrestrials. This amount is doubled if the alien requests conjugal visits or if proof of the abduction is provided. These policies can be purchased for $24.95 for a digital certificate. There have been two cases where claims have been made and the agency kept its promise to pay out $1 per year for $10 million years. Okay, start laughing if you haven’t already. This would make the perfect gag gift. 4. Bed Bug Insurance Just the thought of bed bugs can make your skin crawl. Bed bug infestations can be difficult to control and is an added expense for any homeowner. Landlords especially of vacation rental properties with a turnover of occupants must beware of this. One solution can be to get bed bug insurance coverage. It allows the owner to tackle the problem in a timely manner and pass on the expenses to the insurance. 5. Immaculate Conception Insurance In 2000, a British insurance company insured three sisters from Scotland against the cost associated with immaculately conceiving and raising the second Christ. The women paid £100 annual premiums to the company which would pay out £1 million if this ever happened. The insurance company felt the wrath of the Catholic Church on this one. Initially, the insurer gave all the premiums to a charity until the policy was withdrawn six years later.
